Resilience
Calling all middle school, high school and college age teens….
Joy. Sorrow. Anxiety. Elation. Depression. Robbie’s Hope gives teens both venue and voice for their artistic self-expression around the many emotions our youth face today.
Our 2024 Hall of Personal Expression contest is now open for entries. Categories include Fine Art, Digital Art, Photography, Poetry, Interpretive Dance, Music and Film. This is a juried competition with a Grand Prize of $2,500 and Category Winner Prizes of $1,000.
Entries must be submitted by 11:59 pm on April 30th.
The contest prompt for 2024 is: Resilience
Resilience means being able to cope with tough events. When something bad happens, you still feel anger, grief and pain. But you’re able to keep going, both physically and psychologically. Resilience can help protect you from mental health conditions, such as depression and anxiety. Resilience also can help you deal with things that increase the risk of mental health conditions, such as being bullied or having trauma.
Resilience won’t make your problems go away. But resilience can help you see past them, find ways to enjoy life and better handle stress.
Eligibility:
Age: at least 13 years old and reside in the United States at the time of submission.
Past grand prize and category winners are eligible to participate.

Participation Rules:
To enter, email your photo, video, poem, digital file, or a photo of your painting or sculpture to hope@robbies-hope.com For each submission, write a short description (100 words or less) of how it reflects what Resilience means to you.
